No Act of Charity is Foreign to the Society
Perhaps volunteering as a Vincentian is more than you can commit to at this time, but you still wish to volunteer or intern with the Society. From answering phones, visiting our families in need, delivering food boxes to the poor or helping sort donated items, we have a place for everyone. Volunteers may serve individually or they can organize a club, group, or coworkers. Opportunities include a one-time volunteer visit, a service project, a drive to collect needed items, or a regularly scheduled volunteer assignment.
We are adapting our daily work to practice social distancing, as directed by federal and state agencies. In these unprecedented times, SVdP is shifting our service model from personalized, face-to-face service to meeting basic needs while social distancing… to protect the health of our volunteers, staff, friends in need, and communities. We are tailoring our services to meet the unique needs of all the communities we serve.
