The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults - RCIA - process is a program by which adults who would like to become catholic and have not yet received the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist (Holy Communion) may learn more about the catholic faith through guided study and enrichment, gain greater understanding of catholic life by attending Mass (church service) and participating in other events, and grow deeper in their relationship with Christ over a period of time that usually leads up to being fully initiated (becomng a full member) at the Easter Vigil - the most important Mass in the entire life of Christ's Church.
